Darío Acuña, Mexican sound artist, will score live for the film The Skin of Labour, directed by Adrián Balseca, working on sounds related to the context of the visual piece.
 

In The Skin of Labour, an uncertain landscape is configured, representing a rubber plantation in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The latex collection collection containers have taken the shape of a hand, a ghostly presence that embodies the historic labor relations in the region. The film investigates the fundamental values that underlie the human exploitation of nature and reflects on the impact of the modernization of work.
